Aug 5 2014 Louisville Metro Surplus Vehicle Auction

Louisville Metro Government will hold a surplus vehicle auction on Tuesday August 19, 2014. The auction will begin at 9:00 a.m. at the Fleet Services Lot located at 3515 Newburg Road. Approximately 50 vehicles, including many Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptors will be up for auction.Bidders may view and inspect the auction vehicles starting at 8:00 am the day of the auction, but will not be allowed to attempt to start them.

Aug 4 2014 Air Quality Alert for Monday, August 4 and Tuesday, August 5

An Air Quality Alert has been called for the Louisville metropolitan area for Monday, August 4 and Tuesday, August 5 2014. The Air Quality Index (AQI) is expected to be in the Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups range. The AQI is expected to reach 105 for ozone both days. Sensitive groups include children, older adults, active adults and anyone with heart and/or lung ailments.
