May 13 2015 Proposed Title V Construction Permit C-0036-1002-15-V for Clariant Corporation

The Louisville Metro Air Pollution Control District (District) proposes to issue a construction permit to Clariant Corporation (Louisville West Plant), 1227 South 12th Street, in accordance with Regulation 2.03. The 30 day public comment period starts May 14, 2015 and ends on June 15, 2015. A public hearing may be scheduled if the District determines that there are germane, unresolved issues or substantial public interest, in accordance with Regulation 2.07.

May 13 2015 Proposed Agreed Board Order 15-03 with J. Butt Rentals, LLC

The Louisville Metro Air Pollution Control Board will hold a public hearing on May 20, 2015, on a proposed Agreed Board Order with James Butt d/b/a J. Butt Rentals, LLC. J. Butt Rentals is alleged to have violated District Regulation 2.03: Authorization to Construct or Operate; Demolition/Renovation Notices and Permit Requirements; District Regulation 5.04: Adoption of Federal Emission Standard for Asbestos; and District Regulation 5.13: Additional Control Standards for Asbestos Removal, at a facility located at11604 Main Street in Jefferson County, Kentucky.

Emergency Services Emergency Management Agency (EMA) has been working closely with The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to determine damages throughout the community caused by these storms.
