Jan 23 2015 Mayor to Seek New Chief Financial Officer

Mayor Greg Fischer announced today that he will seek a new Chief Financial Officer for Metro Government following the resignation this morning of Steve Rowland.

Budget Director Daniel Frockt will remain as interim CFO and interim director of the Office of Management and Budget while the search is underway. 

Jan 22 2015 Proposed Title V Construction Permit 54-02-C(R2) for Hexion, Inc.

The Louisville Metro Air Pollution Control District (District) proposes to revise a construction permit for Hexion Inc., 6200 Camp Ground Road, in accordance with Regulation 2.03, for Emission Unit 7 to revise the catalytic oxidizer monitoring requirements. The 30 day public comment period starts January 24, 2015 and ends on February 23, 2015. A public hearing may be scheduled if the District determines that there are germane, unresolved issues or substantial public interest, in accordance with Regulation 2.07.

For the first time in history, the mayor of Louisville will deliver the annual State of the City address in Valley Station.

The speech is traditionally delivered every January to the Downtown Rotary Club. This year the luncheon will begin at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 29th, at the Southwest Regional Library, which opened last fall and represents the largest capital investment of Mayor Fischer’s first term.
