The Louisville Metro Air Pollution Control District (District) proposes to issue a construction permit to LLFLEX, LLC (aluminum foil laminating), 1225 West Burnett Ave, in accordance with Regulation 2.03, for modifications to Laminators #10 and #14. The 30 day public comment period starts June 20, 2015 and ends on July 20, 2015. A public hearing may be scheduled if the District determines that there are germane, unresolved issues or substantial public interest, in accordance with Regulation 2.07.

Jun 19 2015 Metro Parks Golf Special for July: Fourth of July Weekend Family Golf Special

Metro Parks & Recreation is offering an affordable family golfing package at its nine golf courses during the Fourth of July Weekend.

For only $20, a family of up to four members can play nine holes at any Metro Parks course. The $20 includes greens and cart fees, and families can take advantage of the deal after 4:30 p.m. on three days: Friday, July 3, Saturday, July 4 and Sunday, July 5.

Jun 18 2015 Boil Water Advisory Issued for Crescent Hill and Surrounding AreasThursday, June 18, 2015Louisville Water Company has issued a Boil Water Advisory for approximately 33,000 customers in the Crescent Hill and surrounding areas.  The advisory comes after a 60-inch water main break on Grinstead Drive.  Please see the expanded map and listing of affected streets for more information.  The Boil Water Advisory is for those customers within the boundary lines drawn on the map.
Jun 18 2015 Funding in place to plan Beargrass Creek Biking/Walking Trail

Design work will begin soon on a project to connect Cherokee Park and Waterfront Park via a continuous off-street pathway along Beargrass Creek thanks to donations from the community. Designing a conceptual plan for a walking and biking path connecting two of Louisville’s most significant recreational assets is fully funded. The plan will also evaluate strategies to improve water quality and wildlife habitat along the creek.
