The annual awarded was presented on Friday in Columbus, Ohio, by NeighborWorks America, a Washington, D.C.-based organization dedicated to community development and affordable housing.

The Louisville Metro Air Pollution Control District (District) proposes to issue a construction permit to Clariant Corporation (Louisville West Plant), a catalysts manufacturing plant, 1227 South 12th Street, in accordance with Regulation 2.16.  The 30-day public comment period starts October 22, 2016, and ends on November 22, 2016.  A public hearing may be scheduled if the District determines that there are germane, unresolved issues or substantial public interest, in accordance with Regulation 2.07.

Oct 19 2016 Cherokee Park bridge construction changing locations

Repair work is progressing on the Chenoweth Bridge in Jefferson County’s Cherokee Park. The bridge, located on Beargrass Road, was closed in early September to allow for concrete repairs, installation of a waterproofing membrane and asphalt resurfacing. Weather permitting, the bridge will open to traffic on Wednesday, Oct. 26.
