Aug 13 2019 Air Pollution Control District Proposed Permit

The Louisville Metro Air Pollution Control District (District) proposes to issue a construction permit to GE Appliances, A Haier Company (consumer appliance manufacturer), 4000 Buechel Bank Road, Louisville, 40031, in accordance with Regulation 2.03. The project is to remove the electric cure oven [U01-EP100B] and install a new natural gas-fired bake oven [U-01/EP-100B1] with two direct-fired burners rated at 3.5 MMBTU/hour each and a new natural gas infra-red catalytic sintering or gel oven [U-01/EP-100D] rated at 1.95 MMBTU/hour. The 30-day public comment period starts on August 15, 2019, and ends on September 16, 2019. A public hearing may be scheduled if the District determines that there are germane, unresolved issues or substantial public interest, in accordance with Regulation 2.07.

LOUISVILLE (Aug. 9, 2019) – Crews on The New Dixie Highway Project are completing median construction on a critical, busy section of the roadway in the heart of Shively. The 30-day public comment period starts on August 8, 2019, and ends on September 9, 2019. A public hearing may be scheduled if the District determines that there are germane, unresolved issues or substantial public interest, in accordance with Regulation 2.07.
