The Industrial and Commercial Development Division works with its private-sector economic development partner, Greater Louisville Inc, and its quasi-governmental partner, Louisville Metro Properties, Inc. to acquire and assemble available properties, market them and seek an end user.

This division maintains a database, tracking more than 2,000 acres that are mapped and analyzed for assembly potential.
