Young Ladies Like Us II is an overnight retreat held at various middle schools throughout Louisville Metro during the fall of the year.
The purpose is to present a concentrated focus on positive behaviors for 11 and 12 year old girls who are starting their first year in middle school.
The targeted population is sixth grade females, the program strives to incorporate workshops, activities, and speakers that will focus on supportive issues relevant to positive achievement.
Partners in this initiative include the Middle School Youth Service Center, Female Professionals, and the Middle School Coalition.
