Mayor Greg Fischer today consolidated the city’s three emergency services departments into a single agency to create a more efficient, seamless and coordinated response for citizens -- from the time a 911 call comes into MetroSafe until a patient is delivered to an emergency room.

Feb 26 2015 Proposed FEDOOP Operating Permit 158-01-F (R2) For Vanegas Enterprises

The Louisville Metro Air Pollution Control District (District) proposes to issue a FEDOOP operating permit to Vanegas Enterprises (fiberglass reinforced plastic air pollution control equipment manufacturer), 10090 Bunsen Way, in accordance with Regulation 2.17. The 30 day public comment period starts February 27, 2015 and ends on March 30, 2015. A public hearing may be scheduled if the District determines that there are germane, unresolved issues or substantial public interest, in accordance with Regulation 2.07.

Louisville Metro Government’s Department of Community Services Youth Development provides free, monthly professional development opportunities for those who work with youth throughout the city. The trainings are presented by local and regional facilitators and cover a variety of topics focusing on engaging youth and providing quality educational and recreational youth programming.
