Public Art Exhibition Announced
Mayor Fischer is pleased to announce Connect/Disconnect, a public art exhibition in Louisville that will take place during the fall of 2015. Louisville Metro Government, in conjunction with the Commission on Public Art (COPA), has invited artists to transform a unique riverfront site at the Ohio River through an exhibition of site-specific, temporary public art installations.

Councilman Magre calls on Mayor and others to embrace dramatic changes to shut down Economy Inn after Saturday night shooting
Councilman Steve Magre (D-10) is calling on Mayor Greg Fischer, LMPD Chief Steve Conrad, the Captain of the Buechel Fire Department and the head of the Metro Louisville Board of Health to actively get involved in the problems at the Economy Inn on Bardstown Road. He is making the call following a shooting at the Economy Inn on Saturday night.

Proposed FEDOOP Operating Permit O-1610-15-F for The Keebler Company
The Louisville Metro Air Pollution Control District (District) proposes to revise a FEDOOP operating permit for The Keebler Company (Baked Goods Manufacturing), 2287 Ralph Avenue in accordance with Regulation 2.17, in order to incorporate construction permit C-1610-1000-15-F, a new oven. The 30 day public comment period starts June 27, 2015 and ends on July 27, 2015. A public hearing may be scheduled if the District determines that there are germane, unresolved issues or substantial public interest, in accordance with Regulation 2.07.
