Jul 7 2015 First Neighborhood Place Grand Reopening Celebration

After 21 years of serving the community, First Neighborhood Place has a new, refreshed look. On Wednesday, July 8, 2015 local officials, Neighborhood Place partners and members of the community will join together for a rededication celebration at 11 a.m., 1503 Rangeland Road.

Renovations include new carpet, paint and furniture along with a Family Store giving staff and clients a sense of pride.

Councilman David Yates and Southwest Metro Council members are encouraging the public to take advantage of a safe and easy way to dispose of medications that are no longer needed around the house or have passed the expiration date issued by a doctor. The Southwest Drug Toss will get underway on Wednesday, July 8th between 6:00pm and 8:00pm at the Southwest Government Center, 7219 Dixie Highway.
