She was well known and well-loved by the people of Portland. She worked hard as not only a public servant in Jefferson County but as a dedicated volunteer and community activist. Now, the memory of Molly Leonard is part of a place that also serves the people of Portland.

By a unanimous vote, the Louisville Metro Council has approved a resolution of consent to transfer of control of a cable franchise from Time Warner Cable to Charter. The resolution asks Charter to retain jobs and offer a smooth subscriber transition over the next two years when the sale between the two media companies is finalized.

A public meeting will be held November 5, 2014 to present the newly updated routes used for treating roads during snow and ice events in Louisville Metro and allow residents the opportunity to offer input into the 2014/2015 Snow Plan. The meeting will be in the Old Jail Courtroom, 514 W Liberty Street from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
