City Prepares for More Snow; Mayor Urges Citizens to Clear Sidewalks, Move Parked Cars From Snow Routes
As city crews prepare to tackle another major winter storm, Mayor Greg Fischer is urging citizens to do their part to help the community get through this latest snow and ice.
According to meteorologists and the National Weather Service, a significant amount of snow – 7 to 11 inches – is headed toward Louisville.

Louisville Earns National Ranking for Job Creation Momentum
The Louisville metro area has earned a Top 10 ranking for economic development and job creation from a leading national publication thanks to a slate of business investments and company expansions and locations in 2014.
Louisville placed ninth in Site Selection Magazine’s ranking of top tier metro areas with population over one million – that was up seven spots from the year before, the largest jump by any metro area in the top ten.
