Mar 30 2015 Metro Parks & Recreation Community Centers Ready To Provide Spring Break Fun for Youth

Louisville Metro Parks & Recreation welcomes children and teens to its community centers for special spring break programs.

A full schedule of activities is planned, designed to keep children engaged in positive and educational opportunities during this out of school time, including arts and crafts, field trips, team-building activities, fitness, table games, sports and sports tournaments, and much more. Activities vary by community center.

Mar 30 2015 Mayor Launches New Program to Increase Tourism and Exploration of Southwest Louisville Attractions

A new campaign to encourage visitors and residents to explore 24 cultural, recreational and entertainment attractions in Southwest Louisville was launched today by Mayor Greg Fischer, Southwest Louisville Metro Council members, the Southwest Dream Team and project supporters. The attractions will collectively be known as the South Points Scenic Area.
