Notice of Public Comment Period and Public Hearing on a Title V Construction Permit

The Louisville Metro Air Pollution Control District (District) proposes to issue a Title V construction permit to Lubrizol Advanced Materials, Inc., a chemical manufacturing plant, located at 4200 Bells Lane, Louisville, KY 40211, in accordance with Regulation 2.03, to construct a new resin line, a new compounding line, and new raw material feed systems for an existing compounding line. The public comment period starts on November 10, 2013 and ends on December 11, 2013. 

Written comments will be accepted at the District office until 5:00 p.m. on December 11, 2013. Written comments will also be accepted electronically until the same deadline via the Internet at the e-mail address “airpermits @ louisvilleky.gov”. Oral statements will be accepted at a public hearing to be held on December 12, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. in the APCD Board Room, 850 Barret Ave., Louisville, KY 40204.

Drafts of the permit are available at the District office, 850 Barret Ave, Louisville between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m, Monday through Friday by calling Paul Aud at (502) 574-6000 or e-mailing airpermits @ louisvilleky.gov or going to www.louisvilleky.gov/APCD/Docket.htm.   Copies of the application are available upon request.
